Blair received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1960, and his law degree in 1963 from American University in Washington, D.C. From 1963-1965 he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army before joining his father’s firm in Alexandria, Virginia. He has been recognized as one of the top lawyers in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area by Washingtonian magazine, is a perennial selection as a Super Lawyer in the areas of personal injury law and criminal defense and has been listed in Virginia’s Legal Elite by Virginia Business magazine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has successfully represented many defendants in high-profile criminal trials.
